In Odessa, on the territory of the Church of St. Gregory the Illuminator, there was a presentation of the exhibition “From Aghet to the Shoa, 12 history of the story” of the Odessa Holocaust Research Center. The sunset, dedicated to the Day of Remembrance of the Ukrainians, which the Jews recited during the hour of the Other World War, was held in private at the Church of St. Gregory the Illuminator of the Ukrainian Diocese Virmen Apostolic Church in the city of Odessa for support of the Beneficial Fund “Memory. Gidnist. Freedom". The author of the exhibition is the honored cultural activist of Ukraine Pavlo Kozlenko.

The organizers conceived it as another lesson to preserve memory, a dose of cordiality, an example of human humility. The exhibition tells about the terrible tragedy of the last century - the genocide of the Vermen (Aghet, Catastrophe) in the Ottoman Empire, the genocide of Jews and Ukrainians and about representatives of the Vermen people - the righteous, As if there was a mortal threat to themselves and their loved ones, they were swearing at the lives of others. Among the people who fought against the Jews at the end of the Shoah (Holocaust), there were many who themselves survived the genocide at the beginning of the twentieth century. The stench helped Jews in all corners of Europe, where they themselves had to go to death - in Ukraine, Belarus, France, Ugorsk region, Austria. Among the warriors is the famous French chansonnier, composer, singer, writer and actor Charles Aznavour and his homeland; Virmen philanthropist Ara Yeretsyan, who stole over 400 Jews from Budapest; I am the grandfather of the famous Virmenian sleeper Annie Khachatryan, Doctor Harutyun Khachatryan and others. Two homelands from Odessa are represented – Baghdasaryan and Ashkhet. Among the honored guests of this visit were the patron of the Odessa Diocese of the OCU, Archbishop of Odessa and Baltsk Athanasius (Yavorsky); rector of the Temple of the Holy Great Martyr Panteleimon at the Odessa Clinical Sanatorium "Arcadia" DPSU Archimandrite Mikita (Sirovegin); priest of the Temple of St. Gregory the Illuminator Father Abgar; Head of the Board of the Charitable Foundation “Memory. Gidnist. Svoboda” lawyer Veronica Komakha; a writer who is deeply indebted to the concentration camp of Karlivka Arkady Khasin, dedicated to the Virmen homeland of Baghdasaryan at the time of the occupation of Odessa.
