An interesting conversation took place with Iryna Kaminska on August 17, 2025 at the genocide museum "Territory of Memory". Her daughter Amina Okuyeva, a Ukrainian surgeon who stood up for Ukraine during the Revolution of Dignity and voluntarily participated in the ATO, was shot by saboteurs with a machine gun on October 30, 2017 at a railway crossing near the village of Hlevakha near Kyiv.
Amina participated in the creation of the Dzhokhar Dudayev Peacekeeping Battalion.
"She knew that she would give her life. There are people who remain legends precisely because they understand their purpose. Because to believe means to fight and not give up! Amina is not about sacrifice, it is about struggle and victory!" - said Ms. Iryna.
As a memento, Ms. Iryna donated her new book to the museum library, with which she reflects on important moments in our lives.
