Mykolaiv region, Pervomaisk. The left-bank part of the city (Olviopol and Bogopil) became part of the Mykolaiv general district of the Reich Commissariat of Ukraine. The Lyubashivsky, Kryvoozersky, Vradiyivsky, Domanivsky districts, the right-bank part of Pervomaisk (Golta) and the Pervomaisk district were united by the Romanian occupation regime into a single administrative unit - the Goltyansky district of the Transnistrian governorate. The first action to exterminate Jews was carried out on September 17, 1941, during which 1,500 people were shot. Every day, doctors checked the ghetto prisoners, selecting the sick and weak. They were shot outside the city. In the first year of occupation, according to Soviet sources, about 8 thousand Jews died.
